Fresh off the #1 premiere of Iyanla: The Inside Fix among African American women, Vanzant returns to OWN for two powerful primetime events that bring her signature truth-telling and transformational guidance back to where many viewers first fell in love with her work: in front of a live audience.
For the first time in years, Iyanla steps into a shared healing space with guests and audience members alike, confronting some of life's most difficult challenges. OWN Spotlight specials feature candid conversations and thought-provoking documentaries hosted by Oprah Winfrey and other creators, shining a light on the issues, stories, and achievements shaping Black communities.“The wounds between mothers and daughters, and the disconnect between men and women, are rarely about what happened in a single moment,” says Iyanla Vanzant. “They are often the result of generations of unmet needs, unspoken truths, and unheard hearts. In this powerful OWN Spotlight special, Iyanla convenes a live audience for an honest and emotionally chargedconversation exploring one of the most persistent challenges in modern relationships: the communication gap between Black men and Black women.
