KISH: Every dream begins with a vision. What inspired you to step out in faith and create what so many now call "TikTok Church," and how did God confirm that this was part of your assignment?
Candice: The vision didn't begin with TikTok; it began with obedience. And that obedience begins in my home. A small group that grew into what we see today. God has always called me to equip, encourage, and activate people into purpose. I simply asked Him, "Where are the people?" His answer led me to a platform I never imagined would become a place of revival. See, God goes where people go and there are almost 2 billion people on TikTok. When I first started going LIVE, I wasn't trying to build a church online. I was simply saying "yes" to praying and preaching the Gospel wherever people were gathered. As people began showing up daily for prayer, Bible study, healing, and community, I realized we weren't just creating content, we were cultivating disciples. Lives were being transformed, families were restored, people were giving their lives to Christ, and believers who had walked away from church were finding hope again. God confirmed the assignment through the fruit. Scripture says, "You will know them by their fruit." When you consistently see salvation, healing, restoration, and spiritual growth, you don't have to question whether God is in it. What many call "TikTok Church," I simply call meeting people where they are. We call the room The Gathering Space, and people gather daily for teaching, fellowship, breaking bread, and prayer. It really is Acts 2.
KISH: Many people have dreams but struggle with consistency. You have shown extraordinary discipline by streaming daily for hours at a time. What advice would you give dreamers who want to remain faithful to their calling even when they don't immediately see results?
Candice: I remind people that consistency is a spiritual discipline before it's a strategy. James, in the Bible, warns about inconsistency and double-mindedness. Too many people become addicted to applause instead of obedience. If your motivation is likes, followers, or recognition, you'll quit when they don't come. But if your motivation is faithfulness to God, you'll keep showing up because your audience is ultimately Him. He is my audience and the one I strive to please every day. I encourage dreamers to stop measuring success by popularity and start measuring it by obedience. Every day you say yes to God, even when no one is watching, you're building something eternal. God rewards faithfulness long before He rewards visibility. We were praying together for five years before TikTok. Faithfulness to your God assignment will always get a God result.
KISH: In less than a year, you've built a thriving online faith community and reached thousands of people organically. What do you believe is the key to creating authentic connections in a world filled with social media noise?
Candice: People are not looking for perfection; they're looking for presence. I recently preached a message entitled "Show Up". Many miracles we see in the Bible happened because someone showed up. I believe authenticity is the new anointing in this generation. People can tell when you're performing versus when you're genuinely serving. We created a culture, not just content. People aren't joining because of polished production; they're staying because they feel seen, loved, prayed for, and connected. We celebrate wins together, carry burdens together, worship together, and grow together. That's real biblical community. I've also learned that people don't care how much you know until they know how much you care. We have all heard that before. Ministry has always been relational, whether it's in a sanctuary or through a phone screen.
KISH: Your ministry has extended beyond the traditional four walls of the church. How has embracing digital platforms transformed the way you reach souls, and what encouragement would you offer to ministry leaders who are hesitant to step into the digital space?
Candice: Digital ministry has reminded me that the Great Commission never specified a building; it simply said, "Go Today, Going" includes digital spaces. Every scroll is an opportunity for someone to encounter Jesus. Every LIVE is a chance for someone who would never walk into a church to experience God's presence. I've watched people join from hospitals, military bases, prisons, college dorms, different countries, and even while sitting in their cars on lunch breaks. Okay, there has been people watching our Sunday service while in there local church building! Shhhhhh. Geography is no longer a limitation to ministry. My encouragement to ministry leaders is simple: don't allow tradition to become a barrier to transformation. The message never changes, but the methods can. If Paul used Roman roads to spread the Gospel, we can certainly use digital highways. The mission remains the same....to make disciples.
KISH: Your story demonstrates that purpose and influence can create tremendous impact. How do you balance remaining spiritually grounded while experiencing rapid growth and success in the digital world?
Candice: I constantly remind myself that influence is stewardship, not status. My private devotion has to be greater than my public platform. Before I talk to people, I talk to God. Prayer, studying Scripture, accountability, and surrounding myself with wise counsel keep me grounded. The platform may grow, but my posture before God must remain humble. The goal has never been to build my name; it's always been to build His Kingdom.
KISH: K.I.S.H. Magazine celebrates dreamers who inspire others to pursue their God-given purpose. Looking back on your journey, what obstacles did you have to overcome, and how did those challenges strengthen your faith and prepare you for where you are today?
Candice: Like many people, I've experienced disappointment, seasons of waiting, rejection, and moments where I questioned what God was doing. There were times when doors closed that I thought were meant for me. There were seasons where obedience required sacrifice and where faith had to stand without visible evidence. I have overcome three miscarriages, divorce, job lost and many other obstacles. But God has been faithful. But I've learned that God never wastes a wilderness. Every delay developed my character. Every setback strengthened my dependence on Him. Every closed door redirected me toward something greater than I could have imagined. Looking back now, I realize that what felt like preparation disguised as pain was actually God building the capacity I would need for the assignment He was preparing me to carry. My greatest challenges became the foundation of my greatest testimony. God turned it all for my God. I am standing today only because He made a way!
KISH: As we conclude, what prophetic word or message of encouragement would you like to share with dreamers, entrepreneurs, ministry leaders, and visionaries who are believing God to birth something extraordinary in this season?
Candice: I believe we're in a season where God is calling people to stop waiting for perfect conditions and start moving in radical obedience. Show Up! Don't despise your beginning. Don't compare your assignment to someone else's platform. I call it compariSIN. The size of your audience does not determine the significance of your impact. If God gave you the vision, He also has the provision. Where He guides, He will provide. If He calls you, He will equip you. If He opens the door, He will sustain you. I want to encourage every dreamer: build what God showed you. Write the book. Launch the ministry. Start the business. Create the nonprofit. Begin the podcast. Open the Bible study. Stop waiting for permission when Heaven has already given you an assignment. The world doesn't need another copy of someone else. It needs the authentic expression of who God created you to be. So, be you on purpose. Show Up and give God a platform to show out. This is not the season to shrink back in fear. This is the season to arise, build, and believe that the God who gave you the dream is faithful to bring it to completion.
